Why Does My Tea Bag Have a Grey Tag?

Due to a temporary supply issue, some Madura Tea products may contain tea bags with our Generic Grey Tea Bag Tag instead of the usual colour-coded tag.

Only the tag has changed. The tea inside the bag, its ingredients, blend and quality remain the same as the product shown on the box.

Has the tea changed?

No. The tea has not been substituted or changed.

The grey tag is being used temporarily across selected products while our usual tags are unavailable. This means the tag may look different from what you normally expect, but the tea itself is still the correct blend for the product you purchased.

Why might it seem to taste different?

Packaging changes can sometimes affect expectations, particularly when customers normally identify a tea by its tag colour or design. However, the recipe, ingredients and tea blend have not changed as part of this temporary packaging update.

When will the usual tags return?

We expect our normal tea bag tags to return progressively over the coming weeks as supplies become available.

We apologise for any confusion this temporary change may cause and appreciate your understanding.
