Is Green tea better than Black tea?
Share
The short answer is both types of tea can make a healthful addition to your overall wellbeing. The nutrient content offered from either black or green however, does vary slightly in regards to health benefits.
Black and green tea are processed from the same plant, Camellia Sinensis. Green tea leaves undergo minimal processing and are not fermented - making it extremely rich in antioxidants. Black tea does go through an oxidation process (fermentation) which does reduce level and strength of antioxidants associated with tea in general.
The personal choice is always yours, either way albeit green or black, you can be assured that your wellbeing will thank you for including tea into your diet.
